Storytelling and Inclusive Excellence – Transformative Narratives
Experience how stories shape us, improve our social intelligence, and relational abilities through sharing stories. Join this 2-hour workshop to exchange personal narratives from your life or leadership experiences in a non-judgmental space. This story should be one that has shaped your identity, informs the way you lead, or highlights a diversity moment in your journey from inclusion to exclusion or exclusion to inclusion. Requires pre-work to listen to a few examples of 3-4 minute stories. Then, draft a story that can be told in 3-4 minutes. Come prepared to read or tell in an intimate circle of colleagues and story coaches. Selected storytellers may be offered the opportunity to work more formally with a certified story coach to refine, record, and publish a featured story in the Institute's emerging digital story library.
