RESILIENCE is a peer empowerment group for employees who want to give attention to the complexities of their experiences; manage the impact of adversity; turn adversity into opportunity; and effectively adapt to change.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are proven initiatives that increase engagement, retention, and development of diverse talent. Georgia Tech has innovatively created ERGs to embrace less obvious dimensions of our human diversity.
RESILIENCE is an ERG that engages people around the diversity of their lived experiences.
RESILIENCE was launched in December 2015. Working in collaboration with partners across campus, the ERG has provided experiences that helped participants to increase resilience and strength, and proactively mitigate the impact of routine stress, crisis, and change. Program activities include educational experiences, facilitated dialogues, mentoring, and peer support.
